Policies, Procedures and T's&C's

Payment and Booking Terms and Conditions:

  1. Payment at time of booking: For initial and single sessions, clients will be required to pay via debit or credit card at the time of booking. Clients accessing packages will be required to pay via debit card, credit card or bank transfer based on the terms of the package. Debit and credit card payments will be taken via secure payment processing through Stripe. This process has been developed to streamline the booking process, secure the appointment and ensure commitment. Details on Stripe's privacy and data security policies can be found here: https://stripe.com/en-au/privacy

  1. Rescheduling sessions after booking: Sessions are able to be rescheduled from within the booking confirmation and reminder emails, or by contacting your counsellor/coach directly. Rescheduling within 48 hours of the initial scheduled time is at the discretion of the counsellor/coach and will require confirmation following the request. Any requests for reschedule within 24 hours of the original booking should be made directly with your counsellor/coach. NB. Once a session has been rescheduled, no refunds will be applicable for any future cancellations of that session.

  1. Cancellations: Clients are required to provide a minimum of 48 hours notice to cancel any session. Sessions cancelled in accordance with the 48 hour minimum policy will receive a full refund minus any administration fees incurred by Strong Men'd. Refunds will be actioned within two business days of the cancellation request. Clients requiring cancellations within 48 hours will be offered a reschedule based on the counsellor/coach's availability and discretion. Any refunds scheduled will be made either to the original payment method, or in some circumstances, may require a direct bank transfer.

Confidentiality and Privacy Terms and Conditions:

  1. Confidentiality policy: Strong Men'd's confidentiality policy is that any information shared during sessions will be kept confidential by the counsellor/coach.

  1. Limits to Confidentiality: In certain specific situations, confidentiality may be required to be broken by the counsellor and Strong Men'd. These circumstances are:

    - There is a risk of harm identified, either to the client or others; or

    - Information is subpoenaed by a court of law; or

    - Where a request has been made by a third party (often supporting professionals and clinicians, but may include family members) AND the client has provided their written approval to do so. Typically this breach of confidentiality would come at the clients request.

  1. Third party referrals: Clients referred to this service by a third party (another individual or organisation) may have their information shared with that referring party. This could be for coordination of care, reporting progress or suitability, or other related purposes. Clients are required to explicitly inform their counsellor/coach should they wish to keep their information confidential from the referring party.

  1. General privacy policy: Additionally, and information or data collected by Strong Men'd from clients, prospective clients or requests for information is managed in accordance with this privacy policy - unless through your explicit request, we do not share your personal data with anyone.
